Dr. Chuipek received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry and genetics from Cornell University, and her MD degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Hahnemenn University, a fellowship in Pediatric Acute Care  and Pulmonology at the Medical Center of Delaware, and a fellowship in Newborn Intensive Care at the State University of New York. She has been the director of Swarthmore Pediatrics for over 20 years, as well as the director of the Early Childhood Developmental Center of Delaware County. Dr. Chuipek  is a resident of Delaware County where she lives with her husband and children and is very happy to welcome you to the practice.

Cheryl Ditzel is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who serves the medical needs of families across the lifespan.Before completing her education at LaSalle University as a Nurse Practitioner, Cheryl spent 15 years in the inpatient acute care setting at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia PA. Cheryl worked as a bedside intensive care unit nurse in Neurosurgical, Trauma, Neurovascular and Medical specialties.Cheryl also gained invaluable administrative and management expertise as the Nurse Manager of the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience.Cheryl successfully transitioned to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner splitting her time between a private Family Medicine practice in New Jersey and Swarthmore Pediatrics and Family Medicine in Pennsylvania.When Cheryl is not working she is enjoying her four children ranging in age between 7-18 as well as the company of her pets which include two dogs and a rabbit. Biking, hiking, swimming, and yoga are just a few of her hobbies. She enjoys working with children and families and establishing an informative connection with her patients to achieve the best outcomes.

Selena has worked as the medical assistant and co-office manager of Swarthmore Pediatrics for over 15 years. She is available to help with all your questions and scheduling needs.

John has worked as our office manager and IT specialist for 5 years,  and is available to help you with any problems, questions, or scheduling matters. An engineering graduate of Widener University, he is detail oriented and will make sure all your needs are met.
